Heidi M. Cheng is a dedicated and experienced attorney with over a decade of legal practice, specializing in civil litigation. Since joining the Law Office of Steven P. Chang in 2013, which has now grown and expanded to Shioda Langley & Chang, LLP, with four (4) locations throughout California, Heidi has represented clients in all aspects of litigation including motion practice, bench and jury trials, and even appeals.

Known for her thorough approach and dedication to her clients, Heidi believes in providing clear, practical legal advice to help people resolve complex disputes.

Heidi earned her law degree from Whittier Law School, where she was recognized for academic excellence with the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and the CALI Award in International Law. She was actively involved in student leadership and professional organizations including Phi Alpha Delta and the Student Bar Association. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Public Law from the University of California, San Diego.

Heidi is admitted to practice in all California state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Central and Northern Districts of California She brings a strong foundation of legal research, courtroom advocacy, and a client-centered approach to her practice, shaped by previous hands-on experience through internships and clerkships with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office and Los Angeles Superior Court.
